# TCaption user guide

TCaption turns speech from your Premiere Pro sequence into editable captions. Review the transcript, choose line breaks, then apply an animated style on your timeline.

## The workflow

1. **Transcribe:** use your sequence audio or its in and out range.
2. **Review:** play through the transcript and correct the wording.
3. **Insert:** choose caption grouping, position and a video track.
4. **Style:** choose a template, adjust its appearance and apply it.

These are workflow stages. The panel groups them into Transcribe, Insert, and Style & Tools tabs.

## Plans

All plans include the caption styles and activation on two computers. Monthly transcription allowances are 60 minutes for Starter, 600 for Pro and 6,000 for Unlimited.

Starter and Pro each offer a $0.99 first month for eligible new customers, once per account across both plans. Starter then costs $8/month; Pro then costs $12/month. Unlimited is $50/month and has a 6,000-minute monthly allowance despite its name. Prices are in USD. [View full pricing](/pricing).

Cloud transcription requires an internet connection and active access. Review generated words and timing before publishing your video.
