Install the extension for Windows or macOS, then activate it in Premiere Pro.

Windows

The installer adds the extension and its caption font to your user account.

The verified Windows installer will be available here at launch.

macOS

Install the signed ZXP with a compatible installer, then add the included Montserrat Black font.

The verified Mac package will be available here at launch.

Installation steps

  1. Download the package for your system from this page and follow its installation instructions.
  2. Install the included Montserrat Black font if your installer did not add it.
  3. Restart Premiere Pro and open Window › Extensions › TCaption.
  4. Paste the license key from your welcome email and open a sequence.
  5. Transcribe a short section, review the text and apply your first caption style.

Adobe Premiere Pro and internet access for transcription are required. The final supported Premiere and operating-system versions will be listed with the tested release. Sapphire and other third-party effect plugins are optional and sold separately.
